Company History<\/strong><\/p>\n

AZA Group<\/strong> is a family-owned business group with more than 100 years of activity in Valencia and is now at the fourth generation. The companies are entirely managed by professionals and the family’s role is to support these executives and to manage the company from the Administrative Council, which also includes third party experts. The company is specialized in the tertiary sector and its main activities are transport and logistics, parking, yachting and real estate. The Group is in continuous growth, achieving positive results.<\/p>\n

It has an annual revenue of nearly EUR 40 million and gives employment to 350 people. The company’s policy is to reinvest profits for a consistent and solid development, to lead the sectors in which it operates, and a permanent care for its employees, customers, suppliers and environment.<\/p>\n

Chronology<\/strong><\/p>\n

1913<\/strong>. The first written document referred to our business activity dates from 1913, in which the notary of Valencia Don Juan Bautista Roch Contelles referring to Vicente Zamorano Fayos, noted his profession as \u201ctrajinero\u201d (former name of transporter), although oral tradition goes back at least two previous generations.<\/p>\n

1922<\/strong>. We keep a document of industrial contribution to transport activity with four packhorses. This transport company was developed from the hand of Alfonso Zamorano Sanchis during years introducing important innovations as the combustion engine vehicles and especially the concepts of combined transport (named intermodal transport) and correspondent agreements\u2026<\/p>\n

1969<\/strong>. The first non-transport company was born, Nautical AZA, founded by Alfonso Aguado Zamorano, third generation.<\/p>\n

1975<\/strong>. The first Parking area born, was called Parking Aza in a well-known street Ram\u00f3n y Cajal in Valencia.<\/p>\n

1982<\/strong>.. Alfonso Zamorano Aguado takes responsibility of the Group which is its current Chairman. During the period.<\/p>\n

1980-2000<\/strong>. transport grows at double digit annual, with strategic alliances with Guipuzcoana Transport and later with DHL. Today it is a courier service leader in Valencia.<\/p>\n

1985<\/strong>. Opening Parking Ruzafa .<\/p>\n

1995<\/strong>. Central Parking is acquired in Guillem de Castro street.<\/p>\n

1996<\/strong>. Third Parking area in the Group is incorporated, at the Colon street.<\/p>\n

1998<\/strong>. A Commercial Gallery Don Juan de Austria today called Boulevard Austria, is established with other Valencian businessmen.<\/p>\n

1999<\/strong>. Valencia Properties AZA was born as a company to manage economic surplus assets of other group companies in the field of real estate.<\/p>\n

2000<\/strong>. Alfonso Zamorano Transport, built an industrial unit incorporating the most advanced computerized weighing system, displacement and classification of goods that existed at that time.<\/p>\n

2001<\/strong>. We set up an Association of Urban Interest with Onofre Miguel and Lladr\u00f3 families for developing an ambitious property project between Colon and Cirilo Amor\u00f3s streets in Valencia.<\/p>\n

2003<\/strong>. Guipuzcoana Group is integrated into DHL, and a new international activity is born in our company.<\/p>\n

2005<\/strong>. Alliance with the Ros Casares group for the development of logistics activity. Ros Casares Zamorano & Logistics.<\/p>\n

2007<\/strong>. Aza Group invests in a Valencian venture capital company called TANDEM.<\/p>\n

2009<\/strong>. Acquisition of 100% Z&R Logistics shares, renamed AZA Logistics.<\/p>\n

2010<\/strong>. Establishment of the first company group online: Acastillaje.com focus on nautical material sales.<\/p>\n

2012<\/strong>. The work in Colon was finished and an agreement was made with our partners to purchase their part. Logistics AZA incorporates intercontinental transport services, customs warehouse and refrigerated transport. It starts also as an operator to DHL Supply Chain in Valencia.<\/p>\n

2013<\/strong>. It signed an agreement with AC by Marriott to operate the Hotel Colon.<\/p>\n

2014<\/strong>. The Logistics division of Grupo AZA inaugurates a new shed in Beniparell in charge of AZA Logistics.<\/p>\n

2014<\/strong>. AZA Inmuebles opens the AC Marriot Col\u00f3n hotel.<\/p>\n

NUESTRA HISTORIA<\/span><\/h1>

Grupo AZA<\/strong> es un grupo de empresa familiar con m\u00e1s de 100 a\u00f1os de actividad en Valencia y se encuentra en la cuarta generaci\u00f3n, las empresas est\u00e1n totalmente profesionalizadas y la actuaci\u00f3n de la familia es la de apoyo a estos profesionales y liderar el Grupo desde el Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n que incluye profesionales externos. Se dedica al sector de servicios, siendo sus principales actividades transportes y log\u00edstica, parkings p\u00fablicos, n\u00e1utica e inmobiliaria.<\/p>

Se trata de un grupo en continuo crecimiento, con resultados positivos. Factura cerca de 40 millones de Euros y da empleo a 350 personas. La pol\u00edtica de la empresa es la reinversi\u00f3n de beneficios para un crecimiento s\u00f3lido, liderar los sectores en los que act\u00faa, y una contin\u00faa preocupaci\u00f3n por sus empleados, clientes, proveedores, y entorno.<\/p>

  • 1913. <\/span><\/strong> El primer documento escrito que hace referencia a nuestra actividad empresarial se remonta a 1913 en la que el notario de Valencia Don Juan Bautista Roch \u00a0Contelles refiri\u00e9ndose a Vicente Zamorano Fayos dice de \u00e9l que es de profesi\u00f3n \u201ctrajinero\u201d (antigua denominaci\u00f3n de los transportistas), si bien la tradici\u00f3n oral se remonta al menos a dos generaciones anteriores.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    • 1922. <\/span><\/strong> Conservamos un documento de contribuci\u00f3n industrial de la actividad de transporte con cuatro caballer\u00edas.Esta empresa de transportes, ya en su segunda generaci\u00f3n, se fue desarrollando de la mano de Alfonso Zamorano Sanchis durante a\u00f1os con la incorporaci\u00f3n de innovaciones tan importantes como los veh\u00edculos de motor de explosi\u00f3n y en especial los conceptos de transportes combinados (hoy intermodal) y los acuerdos de corresponsal\u00eda....<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      • 1969. <\/span><\/strong> Nace la primera empresa distinta a transportes, N\u00e1utica AZA, fundada por Alfonso Zamorano Aguado, tercera generaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>
      • 1975. <\/span><\/strong> Nace el primer Parking AZA en la calle Ram\u00f3n y Cajal de Valencia.<\/span><\/li>
      • 1982. <\/span><\/strong> Se hace cargo de la direcci\u00f3n del incipiente grupo Alfonso Zamorano Aguado que es su presidente actual.\u00a0Durante el per\u00edodo de 1980 a 2000 transportes crece a dos d\u00edgitos anuales, con alianzas estrat\u00e9gicas con Transportes Guipuzcoana y posteriormente con DHL. En la actualidad es l\u00edder del sector de paqueter\u00eda industrial en Valencia.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        • 1994. <\/span><\/strong> Adquisici\u00f3n del 76% de la sociedad Marti Serra SL de Gandia, corresponsal de Transportes Guipuzcoana en la comarca de La Safor.<\/span><\/li>
        • 1995. <\/span><\/strong> Se adquiere el Parking Central en la calle Guillem de Castro.<\/span><\/li>
        • 1996. <\/span><\/strong> Incorporaci\u00f3n del tercer Parking del grupo, en la calle Col\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>
        • 1998. <\/span><\/strong> Con otros empresarios valencianos se crea la Galer\u00eda Comercial Don Juan de Austria hoy Boulevard Austria.<\/span><\/li>
        • 1999. <\/span><\/strong> Nace AZA Valencia Inmuebles como empresa patrimonial para gestionar el creciente patrimonio e invertir excedentes econ\u00f3micos procedentes de otras empresas del grupo.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2000. <\/span><\/strong> Transportes Alfonso Zamorano\u00a0construye una nave incorporando el m\u00e1s avanzado sistema\u00a0inform\u00e1tico\u00a0de pesaje, cubicaje y clasificaci\u00f3n de mercanc\u00edas que exist\u00eda en ese momento.
          Construcci\u00f3n e inauguraci\u00f3n de las instalaciones en Ontinyent para atender los servicios de transportes de la comarca de La Vall d\u00b4Albaida<\/span><\/li>
        • 2001. <\/span><\/strong> Formamos una Asociaci\u00f3n de Inter\u00e9s Urban\u00edstico con las familias Onofre Miguel y Lladr\u00f3 para desarrollar un ambicioso proyecto inmobiliario entre las calles Col\u00f3n y Cirilo Amor\u00f3s de Valencia.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2003. <\/span><\/strong> El Grupo Guipuzcoana se integra en DHL y nace una nueva actividad internacional en nuestra empresa.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2005. <\/span><\/strong> Se crea una alianza con el grupo Ros Casares para el desarrollo de una actividad de log\u00edstica. Zamorano & Ros Casares Logistics.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2007. <\/span><\/strong> Grupo AZA invierte en la empresa de Capital Riesgo Valenciana TANDEM.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2009. <\/span><\/strong> Adquisici\u00f3n del 100% de las acciones de Z&R Logistics pasando a denominarse AZA Logistics.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2010. <\/span><\/strong> Nace la primera empresa on-line del grupo: Acastillaje.com dedicada a la venta de material n\u00e1utico.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2012. <\/span><\/strong> Se finaliza la obra de Col\u00f3n y se acuerda con nuestros socios la compra de su parte.
          AZA Logistics incorpora a sus servicios el transporte intercontinental, dep\u00f3sito aduanero y transporte refrigerado. Se inicia tambi\u00e9n como operador de DHL Supply Chain en Valencia.<\/span><\/li>
        • 2013.<\/span> <\/span><\/strong>Se firma un acuerdo con AC by Marriot para la explotaci\u00f3n del Hotel Col\u00f3n.
          Se acuerda con la Diputaci\u00f3n de Valencia el desmontaje de la cubierta del Pasaje Doctor Serra, lo que desbloquea la obra del Proyecto Ruzafa.<\/span><\/li>
